Miami Wind Energy Center
is a 288.6 MW wind project in Roberts, Hemphill, Wheeler, and Gray Counties in Texas. IEA Renewable Energy handled the EPC and Morgan Stanley financed the project which features GE 1.85 turbines. In 2013, it was acquired by Invenergy and reached Commercial Operation in September 2014.
Pumpjack Solar and Wildwood Solar I
constitute a 40 MW complex in Kern County, California. Each project has a nameplate capacity of 20 MW and provides power to Southern California Edison. The project was developed jointly with Infigen Energy and sold to Duke Energy Renewables in 2014. Swinerton Renewable Energy managed the EPC. Both projects reached Commercial Operation in November 2014.
Logan’s Gap Wind
is a 200 MW wind project in Comanche County, Texas. Pioneer executed a 10-year PPA with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in 2013. Pattern Energy acquired the project in 2014. Blattner Energy managed the EPC. The project, which features Siemens SWT 2.3 108 turbines, reached Commercial Operation in September 2015.
Green Pastures Wind I & II
constitute a 300 MW wind complex in Baylor and Knox Counties, Texas. Capital Dynamics acquired the project in 2013 and IEA Renewable Energy managed the EPC, installing Acciona AW 116/3000 turbines. Both phases of the project reached Commercial Operation in 2015.
San Roman Wind
is a 93 MW coastal wind project located in Cameron County, Texas. After acquiring the project in 2015, Acciona Energy managed the EPC and installed Acciona AW125/3000 turbines. The project reached Commercial Operation in December 2016.
Rio Bravo Solar I & II
constitute a 40 MW solar installation developed jointly with Infigen Energy in Kern County, California. The projects were sold to SunPower Corp. and reached Commercial Operation in December 2016. Today, the projects are owned by Duke Energy Renewables.
Wildwood Solar II
is a 15 MW solar installation developed jointly with Infigen Energy in Kern County, California. The project was sold to SunPower Corp. and reached Commercial Operation in December 2016. Today, the project is owned by Duke Energy Renewables.
Great Bay Solar
is a 75 MW solar installation currently under construction in Somerset County, Maryland. US General Services Administration agreed to purchase the power through an offtake agreement executed by Pioneer in April 2015. Algonquin Power & Utilities acquired the project in August 2015. It is expected to reach Commercial Operation in late 2017.
Flat Top Wind
is a 200 MW wind project in Comanche and Mills Counties, Texas sold to Alterra Power Corp. in June 2016. A fund managed by BlackRock Real Assets has joined Alterra as co-owner of the project. Construction began in 2017 for the installation of Vestas turbines under EPC management by Blattner Energy. The project is expected to achieve Commercial Operation in the first half of 2018.
